Go directly to the school where your sessions are scheduled. This information is available on the programme tab and also on your individualised agenda which you will have received from communications@ttct.co.uk. When you arrive, staff will greet you and ask you to sign in. If your usual school isn’t hosting a conference, it will be closed for the day and not accessible to staff.

If you can’t arrive between 08:30 and 09:00, let your home school know as soon as possible.  Your school will provide instructions on how to report your absence or delay if your usual school is closed.

The half hour arrival window (08:30-09:00) provides a little bit of flexibility for those colleagues who may be travelling a little further than they usually would, or for those with caring responsibilities or child drops offs.

Colleagues should wear business attire, as they would for a normal working day.

Bring your school lanyard, Professional Learning Journal, and a pen. If possible, also bring a reusable cup with a lid to help reduce waste from disposable cups.

Yes, refreshments will be available when you arrive, during breaks, and at lunchtime. Lunch will also be provided. Please inform us of allergies and special dietary requirements to ensure we cater to your requirements.

Please refer to the separate document provided for guidance.

Part Time Staff Guidance

Yes, there are sessions of choice available on the day. Before selecting and booking your sessions, you should discuss with your line manager which sessions best suit your role and best distribute learning from the day amongst your team as there will be an opportunity to share this learning on the day.

After choosing your sessions, click the ‘Book your sessions’ button on the relevant page to register.

You’ll receive an email closer to the conference date with your session choices, the host school, and room details. Staff will be available at each school to help you find your sessions, so don’t worry about getting lost.

If you are driving more miles than your usual commute to work, you will automatically be paid for the additional mileage as an expense. If you have driven and car shared with colleagues, you will be paid an additional 5p per mile per person.

You will be asked questions regarding mileage and expense claims at the sign in desk. If you are eligible for a payment, this will be noted and actioned by the Finance Team. There is no further action required by you. All payments will be processed no later than Thursday 30th April.  If you have any queries, please contact accountspayable@ttct.co.uk.

Parking is first come, first served and we advise you car share with a colleague(s) attending the same school as you.

If you are planning to meet and greet colleagues at your usual school before commuting to the conference, we advise you check your insurance documents to ensure you are covered to travel to two work locations in the same day. Please note that if your usual school is closed for the day the gates will be locked and there will be no access to the carpark. It therefore might be a good idea to meet colleagues at an alternative location such as a colleague’s house or another location.

Ask colleagues going to the same school if you can car share or look into public transport options. Speak to your line manager if you are struggling.

No, once the conference ends, your working day is finished. All school sites will close at the end of the conference.
