High-quality Teaching and SEND: What it Means for TAs

• The session will share the evidence around what research evidence suggests high-quality teaching looks like, for pupils with SEND. It will then apply this research evidence to the TA role.

• Key indicators that could be relevant to safeguarding concerns, with some focus on emotional wellbeing and mental health in the lead up to exams.
• Delegates will have the opportunity to think about subtle signs that a student is not okay and consider strategies to best engage with students to provide support.

Understanding Self-Harm

• Therapy & Lifestyle Clinic (TLC) are a team of psychotherapists and mental health professionals.

A Brief Introduction to Trauma-Informed Practice
